The Cases portion of the Growth Engine is focused on simplicity, social media and email integration. Our goal is to make it as simple as possible for your staff to add/edit existing cases to unlock the the unique ways the Growth Engine helps you connect with your community. Simply follow the steps below to add, or edit, a case.
Note: You can either pick from pre-selected photos, or add your own. If you add your own, the image MUST BE 960px wide by 240px tall
Not Published: Choose this option if you would like to save without it going to your website.
Published to website: Choose this option if to place the death notice on your website, but not Facebook. Any changes you make later will be updated on the website.
Published to website and Facebook: Choose this option to publish the obituary to Facebook. Only choose this option if you have an obituary image, birth date, death date and partial obituary. Facebook will not auto-update if you make changes.
Important: It can take up to 10 minutes for the obituary to be shown on your website home page. It should show up immediately on your obituary listing page. If you see it on the obituary listing page, it will show up on the home page.
Once reviews are collected, you can easily preview the review before it is published to your website or Facebook Business Page. It’s important to know the Growth Engine will never publish a review without your approval.
Follow the steps below to manage the collected reviews:
The available options from left to right are:
Edit: Edit the reviewer and the text within the review.
Delete: Delete the review.
Preview: See what the review will look like when published to Facebook. Go back and edit any spelling errors you notice.
Publish: Choose the desired publishing method. Whether to send to website, or to website and Facebook.
Note: Click Publish to Web Only if you wish to not publish any review to your business Facebook page.
The ability to collect, and distribute reviews is growing in importance as potential customers rely on reviews to influence their purchasing decisions. Our Growth Engine is designed to help you easily collect reviews from your website, Facebook page and through email outreach.
Driving visitors back to your website is important, but what you show them when they arrive is even more important. Sharing social validation on your home page is critical. As part of our Growth Engine, our website home pages include a testimonial section that displays testimonials from families served, but also encourages them to write their own review.
Community members interested in leaving their own review are sent to a landing page within your Growth Engine website to share their experience. We also promote Google reviews along with our reviews in an effort to spread the word as much as possible.
Our partner firms engage with their community on Facebook daily. In order to collect as many reviews as possible, we utilize Facebook as an outlet to ask families, and community members, to leave reviews.
As part of our Growth Engine, we have the ability to publish the reviews you collect to your Facebook page. Once published, we also encourage others to visit your website and leave reviews. This creates an ongoing cycle of community members leaving reviews and our system asks others to share their feedback.
The email aftercare portion of our Growth Engine contains a touch point that asks the family for their feedback. This method has proven to be effective in guiding the family back to your website to share their experiences.

The Growth Engine’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) component handles the core features necessary to track leads. It works perfectly for smaller businesses that don’t many of the features found in more robust CRMs. If your company is already using a CRM, leads generated can easily be exported from the Growth Engine. They are exported into an Excel Spreadsheet you can easily import into your CRM.
Below are the steps to export your leads from the Growth Engine:
Periodically, there are subscribers of your newsletter who wish to be removed. Each newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom that allows users to easily unsubscribe on their own, but it is also possible for you to remove them from the email list too.
