Louise Radebaugh
June 19, 1933 - January 12, 2010

Louise Mae Radebaugh (Grandma Lou) was born on June 19, 1933, in Spokane, Washington to the late Orville Haven and Emma (Cuff) Hastings, Sr. At the age of fourteen, she moved to Jackson, Minnesota where she received her education. On March 21, 1948, Louise was baptized into the Christian Faith at the First United Methodist Church in Jackson, Minnesota.

Louise was united in marriage to Maurice Theobald in Fairmont, Minnesota and then Russell Earl McWells, Sr. in Pennsylvania. Both of these marriages were dissolved. On March 28, 1980, Louise was united in marriage Robert L. Radebaugh in Long Beach, North Carolina. Through the years, Louise worked mostly as a waitress/bartender and lived in several different areas of the United States. In 1992, Louise moved to Fort Dodge, Iowa with Linda and Dan and then to South Dakota in 2000. In 2003, she moved with Linda and Dan to Windom, Minnesota where she made her home until passing away peacefully on Tuesday morning, January 12, 2010, at the age of 76.

Louise was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Windom. She had many enjoyments in life which she will be remembered for which included fishing, golfing, dancing, visiting with and spending time with people, but most of all, she enjoyed and loved her family.

Louise is survived by her six children, Linda (Dan) Ortmann of Windom; Maurice "Butch" (Jo) Theobald, Jr. of Granada; Russell E. McWells, Jr. (Shirley Sohnchen) of Douglasville, GA; Charles M. McWells (Angie Simoes) of Southport, NC; Evelyn (Danny) McWells Dean of Wendell, NC; Anita L. (Frederick) McWells Walton of Southport, NC; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Janet Gaudio of Portland, OR; Stanley Hastings of Worthington; Donald Hastings; and many more relatives and friends.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Robert Radebaugh and Russell McWells; one daughter, Helen Louise McWells; two brothers, Orville "Gene" Hastings, Jr. and James Hastings; two sisters, Mary Jane Hastings and Jean Hastings.
