"Bro. Manders or Bro. Doug as I knew him was a mighty man of God and what moves me the most is that I know he will continue to be that same great man in eternity. He took me in under his wing while I knew him. He Provided somthing for me I never really knew and I never got the chance to tell him. He gave to me the idea of a loving father. I never called him Dad but he treated me like a Son and I love him for that. When the wold cast me aside he would always be there to pick me up off the ground and dust me off. Between the Bus Route at church the Plain rides at the airport and the hay rides at the annual Fall Harvest Party I don't have even one negative memory of the man I knew as Bro. Doug. Bro. Doug I will always remember you. Thanks for everything. I miss you. "
"I wish to offer my condolence to Dougs immediate family and freinds and to George/Connie and his brothers. Dougs courage and faith will be missed by all."
