Alberta V. Tracy age 88 of Maquoketa died Monday morning April 19 2004 at the Finley Hospital in Dubuque Iowa.



Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday April 222004.0 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M. on Wednesday April 212004.0 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery Maquoketa Iowa.



Alberta V. Tracy was born on August 14 1915 in Ozark Iowa to Maurice Edwards and Iva L. (Stickley) Edwards. She married Thelman M. Tracy on December 17 1936 in Moline Illinois. He preceded her in death on September 23 1991.



Alberta was a homemaker and after her retirement served as a volunteer at the Jackson County Senior Citizen's Center. She also enjoyed flower gardening canning and cooking. She loved her family very much.



She is survived by: children- Ronald(Mary Kay) Tracy of Maquoketa IA Gary(Joyce) Tracy of Baldwin IA JoAnn(Mrs. Robert) Sikes of Wildwood TX Carol Jean(Mrs. Jerry) Klinefelter of Clinton IA & Mary Jo Williams of Maquoketa IA; a step-son- Dylon(Joanne) Tracy of Maquoketa IA; many grandchildren many great-grandchildren & several great-great-grandchildren; a sister- Zelma Deacon of Bernard IA; a sister-in-law- Esther Tracy of Maquoketa IA; & a brother-in-law- Walter Hayward of Maquoketa IA. She was preceded in death by her parents husband 4 brothers & 2 sisters.



An Alberta V. Tracy Memorial Fund has been established.
