Mrs. Margaret Ferrell Winston, 62 of Lanett, Alabama Died Monday, April 13 at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley.

Born June 8, 1946 in West Point, Georgia, Mrs. Winston is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Lowe; sister, Darlene Lowe; brothers, Victor Lowe, Anthony Lowe, Robert Lowe; her grandparents, Susie and Andrew Lett, Cora Higgins and James Ferrell.

Mrs. Winston was a member of Chosen Generation Outreach Ministries. Mater Gal loved working in the church nursery, vacations at the beach and spoiling her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Winston is survived by her children, Tabitha (Virgil) Truitt, Lanett and Timothy (Roxie) Winston, Valley; her father, Anderson Ferrell, West Point; Five sisters, Annie Ruth Ferrell, West Point, Georgia. Gloria (Eddie) Battle, Atlanta, Georgia, Valarie (Thaddius) Turner, Atlanta, Georgia, Sylvette Ferrell, Conyers, Georgia, Darryl (Lisa) Ferrell, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Keith Ferrell, West Point, Georgia; Ronnie Lowe, Atlanta, Georgia. Her grandchildren, Tara Truitt, T.J. Truitt, Joshua Winston, Yakira Winston, Jamar Darden, Jamarcus Darden, Quinisia Bailey, Mia Wright, Chazay Wright and Cavarrio Wright. Four great-grandchildren, Jaelin Truitt, Camron Johnson, Harmony Bailey and Markala Jones; her aunts, Alice Brewer, Aretha Morris, Adele Lett, Hattie Lett, Willie Ruth Higgins, Doris Higgins and Ruby Higgins; her uncles, Otis Higgins, Horace Higgins and Tony Higgins; her former daughter-in-law, Priscilla Darden; Special friends, Doris Washington, Willie Eva Brewer, Francis Carr and Malinda Sorrells. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
