Wava Yvonne Peeler Smith Marshall was born November 7th, 1930 in Bartlett, Iowa to Chester and Iva (Maxwell) Peeler. She attended school in Sidney, Iowa and graduated in 1949 from Sidney High School.

Wava was a gifted musician. She won many awards for both vocal and instrumental music.
Wava was an excellent cook and enjoyed hosting holiday meals and parties with family and friends. She was loved by many.

Wava was preceded in death by a son, Mark, daughter, Terri Lea, and husband Walter Marshall.

She is survived by a brother Don Peeler of Hamburg, Iowa,sister‐in‐law Georgene Peeler, niece, Mary Johnson and nephews Donald Peeler, Ronald Peeler, daughter,Jennifer Robin Petty,son in law Scott Petty,Jessica Petty Howell granddaughter, Caitlin Petty, granddaughter, Janet Larabee, daughter and son in law Craig Larabee, granddaughter,Jacque Larabee Buller, granddaughter Melissa Larabee Krouse, grandson Scott Larabee, granddaughter Karissa Larabee Oborny, daughter-in-law, Linda Smith Van
Fosson, grandson Tim Smith, grandson Brian Smith and five great grandchildren.
