"My sincerest, heartfelt condolences to Kathy's family. I met Kathy when I moved to Keokuk in 1960. I lived on Bank St and she lived on 14th between Bank and Exchange. We spent numerous afternoons and weekends doing any number of things. A lot of us neighborhood kids use to hang out along the wall of the beauty shop on Bank St. across from my house until dark. I remember one time when her sister's boyfriend drove this blue and silver 1957 Chevy. We would wave and flag him down whenever we could. When my family moved to the country, we sort of went separate ways in life. I last saw her at a class reunion some 30 yrs after we graduated. It was good to be able to catch up. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. RIP..."
