I remember being at his house for a fun birthday party. My favorite memory of Brian was his lesson of making hydrogen balloons. Brian Donald Kenny passed away May 11th, 2013 at his home, with his son Tyler by his side. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 15, 2013 at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Corpus Christi Cemetery.
Brian is survived by his son Tyler Price of Fort Dodge; his brother Kevin (Mary Beth) Kenny of Fort Dodge and 5 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Fran Kenny.
Brian was born on December 1, 1955 in Fort Dodge. After graduating high school at Saint Edmond, he attended Iowa State University where he obtained a degree in engineering in 1988. After graduation, Brian worked as a civil engineer at MER engineering for the duration of his career. Brian enjoyed spending his time with family, bird watching and restoring vintage radios.
