"Mrs Maher, Blaine, Brian It was a sad feeling when I heard of Carl's passing. When we ran the cafe well over 30 years ago, he was a faithful customer. For well over a year now, on the days I would be working at Hy Vee, I would see Carl in the store buying groceries and he always made a point to stop, say hello, and take a few minutes to visit. I miss seeing him. My heartfelt condolences to the three of you. He is now at peace. "
