Rita Fish, of Aurora, Colo, died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Aurora Medical Center. She was 71 years old. She was born on June 22, 1941 in Antigo, a daughter of the late Joseph and Emily (Johanek) Igl. She married Herman Fish on March 19, 1960 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death in 2002.
She was a graduate of Antigo High School and moved to Colorado in 1970.
Mrs. Fish was a successful Avon Sales Representative for 39 years.
She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Aurora, Colo.
She loved flowers, dolls, garage sales and singing karaoke.
Survivors include two daughters, Kelly (James) Herrera and Kathy Fish both of Aurora, Colo; a grandson, Kevin (Risa) Barker, Waukee, Iowa; a granddaughter, Kayla Herrera, Aurora, Colo; a great-grandson, Zack Stark; four brothers, Ken (Jane) Igl, Bellevue, Wash., Francis (Lenore) Igl, Antigo, Harold (Mary) Igl, Antigo and Arnold (Judy) Igl, Oregon; and two sisters, Delores Boehm, Marion, Va. and Denise (Ron) Foreman of Wausau.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday and 9 - 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Bradley Funeral Home. A parish wake service will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home
