MUSCATINE, Iowa - Evelyn Cracker, 85, of Muscatine, died on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Bickford Cottage.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 21, 2013, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Todd Hessel and Reverend Clark Pantel of Mulford Evangelical Free Church will officiate. Honorary bearers will be Mike Byrnes, Karl Erickson, and Matt Seligman. Casket bearers will be Jake Neels, Jeff Seligman, John Vandygriff, Andy Seligman, Austin Hancock, Sam Seligman, and Nathan Mather. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 21, 2013, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Matthew B. Seligman Scholarship Fund.

Evelyn was born on August 3, 1927, in Muscatine, the daughter of Frank and Delma Ash Ross. Her first marriage was to Rene Seligman on March 8, 1946, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1967. She married Richard Cracker on May 6, 1972, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2012.

She was a member of Mulford Evangelical Free Church, Muscatine Hospital Auxiliary, and Christian Women's Club.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, birds, flowers, and loved reading.

Those left to honor her memory include four sons, Gary Seligman and wife, Jane, of Muscatine, Randy Seligman and wife, Cathy, of Clive, Brian Seligman and wife, Kim, of Orange City, and Stephen Cracker and wife, Mary, of Urbandale; two daughters, Diane Hancock and husband, Jim, of Muscatine, and Donna Vandygriff and husband, Tom, of Muscatine; an adopted daughter, Linda Tietje of Muscatine; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jerry Ross of Muscatine.

She is preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; one daughter, Joanne Eastwood; one grandson, Matt Seligman; three brothers, George, Oscar, and Robert Ross; and one sister, Jessie Frieden.
