In his spare time, Roy enjoyed having cook outs, watching old westerns and doing yardwork. He would often snowblow the whole block, or mow neighbors yards while they were on vacation, just because it was the nice thing to do. "Our deepest condolences to you Joyce and all your children. It has been a pleasure living next door to you and Roy all these years. We will miss Roy dearly. I will definitely miss our almost always daily talks, except when it was so hot out, then it was just a brief hello, so he could finish what he was doing and get back inside. We would always swap stories about the neighborhood, and what was going on in town. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. May you have comfort in knowing that others share in your pain, and remember we will all meet again some day in Heaven! God bless all of you always."
