"Something about Snapping Turtles hanging on a fence, just kidding. "Mr. Romie" was the best neighbor "Dad" you could have ever asked for (across the driveway) on Hill Street. We had a wonderful time on the block. His Dad and Mom also lived next door to us. So many years and so many memories with him, Miss Carol and their kids. Little did I know back then that I would be proud to serve with him in the Legion. I will always remember him with a smile on his face, working hard, loving life, his family, and God. Rest in peace, Mr. Romie! I'll see you again someday! "
