"Remembering My Beloved Wife: Jasumati Vithalani
November 1, 2013
Today
On Her Birthday
And Holy Diwali Days
In Her Absence
In Front of Her Portrait
I am Lighting A Candle of Hope
Praying With All of You
In Her Memory
'Oh God Rest Her Soul in Eternal Peace'
I am Thanking All for Your Support and For Sharing my Grief.
I have Attached A Poem Which Has Become A Prayer For Me.
It Keeps Me Careful and Awake
It Prevents Me From Drifting Too Much Into The Past and The Future
It Always Inspires Me To Do Something Good Everyday
Yes, Something Much More Than Much
To Leave Behind The Footprints That Make The Invitation
To The Future Generations;
'Walk Where I Have Walked'
The Poem Entitled
'Swansong On Cruise To Alaska, August 2013'

"Happy Birthday Aunty,
We rejoiced on many birthdays of yours and ours,
We shared deep concerns of yours and ours,
Remembering you on your birthday,
With sadness in our hearts,
For a very special someone,
From whom we had to part.
Aunty You were a person Who would never want your loved ones to dwell in sorrow or grief, rather say move on hence
I picture you telling us:
Remembrance is perfectly normal, but do not dwell on my death as my soul and spirit, now in Heaven, God has prepared many mansions in Heaven for the Faithful living......
DON'T CRY
Don't cry anymore tears for me
I am at peace; I am finally free
Like the eagle in the sky,
I am soaring, so please don't cry
I know you love me, I love you too,
But my time was over,
Was finally through.
I have ascended to a better place
Which is not confined by time or space
To those that loved me, I did not fall,
I only succumbed to a higher call.
Do not mourn me,
I am with you still,
I will be with you always,
From dawn........Until

"THE MEASURE OF A MAN:
Not - "how did he die" But - "how did he live"
Not - "what did he gain" But - "what did he give"
These are the units To measure the worth Of a man, as a man, Regardless of birth.
With this measurement our loving Mrs. Jasumati Vithalani is among highest scorers!
Vithalani family - Allow the love of others to lift you in this time of grief.

"My Dear caring nanni,
Your presence here on earth was a very strong impact to my family. You took care of my little brother, Harsh when he was a baby, from doing oil massages to feeding him milk, this way you made an impact to my mom and to Harsh. You were also a great friend to my nanni which impacted my nanni. You diciplined me and taught me to eat healthy Indian food. You were like a mom to my mom and dad.You lived a simple life and you always had a place in your heart for others. I love you and will miss you.
With love,
Harshita "

"My Dear loving aunty,
Your presence on earth was a very strong emotional support to me. We had a very close bond. I am deeply grieving for you as you loved me and cared me as your own daughter. You had such a huge heart for others to include them in your life and your greatness was, in continuously keep loving them as your own. You were a great example of simplicity, unconditional love, selfless-ness, and humbleness. You will be missed very dearly. You left a vaccume in my heart, this vaccume, pain and your absence will be felt time to time. You will be dearly missed.
Aunty as you always said when we need to talk, we will do it thru our tele pathy or thru our sprit. We did that in past, Please remember and keep this.
Fate has got her own reasons for us to meet you this time in US and in India last time. How could I have forgiven myself if I did not attempt to see you in these trips. Your love was a strong motivation for these attempts.
Aunty your perfection and discipline taught me a lot. I will inherit your teachings -"Be positive", advises -"Let go" and recipes -" Laddoo, Khakra, kadi etc". I will hold your gifts and memories proudly.
Come back to see, I miss you more than you could know,
And, I can't figure out just why you had to go.
It seems God just needed you to come home,
Yes we know it has made your family sore.
You will always be remembered every single day,
From the smile on your face to the things you would say.
You have taken your space in heaven right where you belong,
Yes we all know that we need to be strong,
But through your family, friend and loved ones your memory will live on.
You will be greatly missed by everyone who knew you.
With love and your fond memories,

"It is with a heavy heart filled with great fondness that I recall "Kalpa's mom". A genuinely caring and loving person, Kalpa's mom endeared herself to my entire family through her gentle and affectionate way of being. No words are enough to say how much we will miss you. We pray for strength for the Vithalani family."
