"April 5, 2014 I understand that this Fred Hunter Webpage regarding the death of Ardis Crockett will be displayed for viewing until September 3, 2014 only! It will be with great sadness that we will be unable to visit her her after that date. Fred Hunter Funeral Home is superb and their employees outstanding. She is beautifully memoralized here. I'm praying we will be able to visit this page in future years. Thank you all so very much for the loving words & memories. Sincerly, Daughter Carol"

"IN LOVING MEMORY OF MOM! WHEN WE ARE SMALL CHILDREN, WE SO LOOK TO OUR PARENTS FOR LOVE AND GUIDANCE, AND WE GOT THAT THROUGHOUT OUR LIVES FROM MOM & DAD. THEY BOTH WERE BROUGHT UP IN TOUGH TIMES, WITH WWII AND ALL THE UPSET IN BOTH THEIR LIVES WITH THEIR PARENTS DIVORCE(S) AND TRAUMATIC LIFE. DAD WORKED SO HARD 'ALL' LIFE TO FOOD ON THE TABLE. WE NEVER HAD MUCH, BUT WE HAD EACH OTHER. AS WE WERE ALL LITERALLY CARTED TO FL TO LIVE WITH HIS MOM IN WPB. NO A/C, NO SUFFICIENT BEDROOMS, KITCHEN OR BATH FACILITIES. SOMEHOW WE SURVIVED!! THEY WERE SO PROUD TO HAVE GOTTEN HELP TO PURCHASE THEIR lST & LAST HOME ON CANALWAY IN HOLLYWOOD, FL. A BIG LOSS WHEN DAD PASSED 1989 OF PANCREATIC CANCER. THEY HELPED ME THROUGHOUT LIFE WITH THEIR LOVE; I GRADUATED FROM H.S., ATTENDED 2-YRS BUSINESS SCHOOL, MARRIED, HAD MY DAUGHTER, MY DIVORCE, EACH AND EVERYTIME THEY WERE AT MY SIDE. THEIR HEARTS WERE FILLED WITH LOVE FOR EVERYONE THEY KNEW AND ESPECIALLY FOR EACH OTHER!! WE NEVER..HEARD THEM ARGUE OR SPEAK HARSH TO EACH OTHER, OR TO OTHERS!! I CAN ONLY...SAY THAT HARD TIMES IS WHAT MAKES US APPRECIATE ALL THE GOOD TIMES, FUN TIMES, AND MEMORIES OF EACH OTHER. THANK YOU GOD, FOR MY PARENTS AND THEIR PRECIOUS LOVE. YOU GAVE ME MOM FOR 72 YRS. I WOULD NOT TRADE ONE DAY OF "REGRET" FOR HAVING BEEN ABLE TO SPEND EVERY-MOMENT OF HER LIFE. MOVING TO ORLANDO, SHE LOVED AND HER CONDO. WE WERE ALWAYS TOGETHER. SHE WAS IN HOSPICE DUE TO CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE AND RESPIRATORY ISSUES FOR ONLY 1-WEEK. NEVER ANY PAIN, AGAIN THANK YOU GOD! HOSPICE WERE ANGELS FROM HEAVEN. SHE LIVED 90 YRS, HER LIFE WAS FILLED WITH TONS OF MEMORIES. MOM LIVED WITH ME AFTER SHE WAS HOSPITALITALIZED APRIL 2013. I WILL FOREVER CHERISH OUR DAYS TOGETHER BEFORE HER LAST BREATH. SHE IS IN GOD'S HANDS AND WITH HER LOVED ONES NOW... AND AT PEACE!."
