In loving memory of

Gilbert E. Miller

Gilbert Miller found peace in the arms of his Lord on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice after a valiant battle with cancer. He was 85 years old. Gilbert was born on January 31, 1928, son of William and Annetta Fox Miller on the family farm in the town of Sherman.
On August 12, 1950 he married Margaret Schommer at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Random Lake where they worshipped their entire married life.

He was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish in Random Lake. Gib was also a proud member of the Hamm-Miller-Dietrich American Legion Post in Random Lake, named in honor of his eldest brother, James Miller who was killed in WWII.
Gib could be seen driving his scooter to Lakeside (formerly Krier) Foods in Random Lake where he was a maintenance supervisor for 32 years. After retiring he transported vehicles for Ernie von Schledorn in Random Lake. He enjoyed driving and took Marge with him so they could enjoy the day together. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, working on puzzles, Sudoku, and there was never a family gathering without an intense game of Sheepshead. He was also an avid golfer and a lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers.
