In loving memory of

Nancy J. Jenison
September 14, 1932 - October 27, 2013

Nancy J. Jenison, 81, passed away Sunday October 27, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI.

Nancy, the daughter of Harold and Iola Johnson, was born in Belmond, IA. She attended schools in Belmond and graduated from Belmond High School in 1950. Nancy married Robert L. Jenison in 1951.

Nancy was a devoted mother and wife, and a friend to many, and she will be greatly missed. She lived in Jacksonville, FL while Bob served in the Navy. She then lived in New York, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin during Bob's employment with IBM. After leaving IBM, Nancy and Bob returned to Iowa, followed by moves to Connecticut, Nebraska, and finally residing in Madison, WI. She enjoyed interior decorating, and on each move she quickly established a welcoming and loving home for her family.

Nancy was actively involved in the Lutheran church and P.E.O. She was passionate about collecting antiques and sharing her historical knowledge with others.

She is survived by her son Dr. Rick (Delores) Jenison of Madison, WI and Dr. Jane (Bryan Fisher) Olson of Baton Rouge, LA; her granddaughters Hillary (Nathan) Andrews, Rachael Jenison and Amelia Jenison; and her brother Terry (Karen) Johnson.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Robert Jenison, and parents Harold and Iola Johnson.

A service and burial will be held at the Belmond Cemetery on Saturday November 2, 2013 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the ALS association.

The family would especially like to thank Tina Zander for her care and companionship over the past years, as well as the staff of Capitol Lakes Terraces and St. Mary's Hospital.
