Cody Hoban wrote on Nov 23, 2013:

"My mom was the best mom in the world. She was always there for my brother and I. There are so many great stories. I remember her driving in a blizzard from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Los Angeles to watch my team play in a basketball game. We lost 79 to 12. After the game I was so upset and embarrassed. My mom came up to me after the game, gave me a big hug, and said she was proud of me and I had nothing to be ashamed of. I felt better right away. She was the greatest mom in the world. I love you mom and will never forget you. Love Cody"

"We were among Amy's friends in Santa Fe who relied on her to liven us up when she was here. She organized lunches and outings, gave great parties, cheered us up continually, and was a great friend in every way. Her generous spirit and positive outlook were inspiring. Santa Fe won't be the same without her. Neither will we. Much love to you, Amy, on your journey, and to the family and friends left behind. We're grateful to have known you, Amy, and will remember you always. "

"As I just mentioned to someone recently, the world won't be quite as bright without Amy in it. My last visit with her in Santa Fe was so memorable. I had missed her birthday so we went to Santa Cafe and had a delightful evening and on my last day there, we all met for lunch before saying goodbye until our next visit. Because of her I have beautiful western shirts and a pair of fingerless mittens she had hand knitted f or me last Christmas. I am grateful to have had her as a friend and will miss her very much.. "
