"Our family has many happy memories of our nephew Dee. When he lived with us in Denver, he became a member of our family during that time, being like an older brother to our children. Dee's sense of humor brought a lot of laughter to our home. Our children Chris, Julie and Holly have said that while they are very fond of all their cousins they became the closest to cousin Dee during that time. Dee's passing has brought great sadness to all of us. Dee's wit, his smile and his laughter will be missed by all. With Love, Aunt Etta (Mason) Washington, Uncle Rob, Cousins Chris Washington & Family, Julie Borghi & Family and Holly Dries & Family."
"I have many fond memories of Dee from our childhood. He was my cousin and our families would get together at our grandparents' house quite often. We entertained ourselves not on computers, but by playing games and playing outdoors at our grandparents' farm. We would go exploring and just make up things to do outside. My favorite thing we did was roll down our grandparents' hill for hours. We would get so dizzy, but it didn't stop us! I don't ever remember him getting upset or angry when I was around him. He had such a big heart and a kind and gentle nature! Of course, after we got older we didn't see each other often, but I will always have the memories of our times together when we were young! Rest in peace my little cousin! "
