J. James Flynn "Jim" of Port Washington, WI formerly of Neenah/Menasha passed away from cancer on November 14, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 69. Jim was born in Neenah on October 19, 1944, son of Lt. J. James Flynn and Ethel Champagne Flynn. He graduated from St. Mary's High School with the Class of 1963.
Jim married Mary Wisneski at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Menasha on September 4, 1965.
Jim graduated from Marquette University with a business degree in 1968. He worked as a Human Resources Director for Bolens FMC, Koss Corporation and Marquette Electronics.
Jim loved sports like basketball, tennis and golf. His claim to fame is his hole-in-one that he got at Hawthorne Hills Golf Course on hole number 8. His other love was his daughter's two yellow labs.
Jim is survived by his wife and best friend Mary Flynn of Port Washington, Daughters Lisa (David) Ross of Cedarburg and Kelly (Drew) Horwich of Port Washington and grandchildren Rachel and Kennedy Ross and Flynn Horwich.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lt. J. James Flynn who was killed in WWII and Ethel (the late John) Trilling. Jim is also preceded in death by his sister-in-law Marilyn Driscoll.
A private family service will be held. He will be laid to rest in St. Margaret Mary Cemetery, Neenah.
In lieu of flowers, if desired memorials can be made to the Ozaukee County Humane Society.
The family wants to thank Metro Hospice especially Judy, Chris and Norman and the doctors at Port Washington Aurora Clinic.
