"It was always a great time when Katie and Dale would invite Kate's family to "The Koehler Family Pond" for a cookout. Richard would relax and seemed to meditate as he watched the campfire burn. MaryAnn liked good conversation and watch the kids run around. I so much enjoyed them all visiting us at the "pond". Great memories"

Linda Rudd wrote on Nov 27, 2013:

"The Ringles had been my neighbors for over 30 years. I always enjoyed talking to Richard over the fence, when he would be out working in one of his massive gardens. He was always eager to share his overabundance of produce, from tomatoes, to rasberries, even lima beans, which Richard knew I was not a fan of. Richard was a soft spoken man, who was always very interesting to visit with. In these later years I always thought of him as the Energizer Bunny. He did not let the stroke that he had slow him down! Hugs to the family. "
