Janet M. "Jan" Ziegelbauer
July 5, 1954 - November 30, 2013

Jan Ziegelbauer of Saukville, passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 30, 2013 at her residence. She was 59 years young. Jan was born in Milwaukee on July 5, 1954, daughter of Kenneth Keul and Marilyn Linneman Keul. Jan grew up in Port Washington, and graduated from Port Washington High School in 1973. On April 20, 1974, she married Ron Ziegelbauer at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. The couple attended MATC together, and got degrees in business and upholstery. They started Ron and Jan's Upholstery in May of 1977 in Saukville. They celebrated their 35th year in business together this year. Jan loved being a grandma to her two granddaughters. She talked with them every day either on the phone or over the computer. Every Sunday she would teach them how to cook or bake. Jan also enjoyed camping and doing ceramics. Jan is survived by her husband and best friend Ron of Saukville, her two sons Russell (Wendy) of Kewauskum, and Randy of Saukville. She is further survived by her two loving granddaughters Robin and Rilee, her five siblings; Susan Smith of West Bend, David (Penny) Keul of Jacksonville, FL, Laurie Keul of Brandon, FL, Peter (Jackie) Keul of West Bend, and Nicole (Steve) Tomkiewicz of Saukville, brothers and sisters-in-law Roger (Sara) Ziegelbauer of AZ, Kathy (Glenn) Wille of Cedarburg, Betty (Frank) Jimenez of Watertown, David (Cindy) Held of Slinger, Sue (the late Randy) Richards of Mequon, Dick (Kathy) Ziegelbauer of Hartford, Ray (Ingrid) Ziegelbauer of Mequon, Bob (Jill) Ziegelbauer of Cedarburg and Mary (special friend Gordie) Jacobson of Grafton, three aunts Roberta (Bob) Slowey of Horn Lake, MS, Betty Langlais of Grafton and Carol Krief of Port Washington, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. A time of gathering to celebrate Jan's life will take place on Thursday, December 5th, 5-7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave, Port Washington.
