Ron Entringer wrote on Dec 5, 2013:

"Mom, You probably got a kick out of watching us trying to make doughnuts in your honor this morning. Although they tasted great, they were missing that most important ingredient, your loving touch. Thank you for all you did for me. I am so honored to be your son. I am sure you are now enjoying being with Dad, and are preparing a home for us all above. Love, Ron"

"Knowing you Grandma, loving you, and you loving me is a true blessing from God. You and Grandpa will always be in my heart. The next time I hear thunder I know you will be bowling with Grandpa, and that brings peace to my heart. I have so many memories I will always cherish and remember like picking rhubarb and making kuchen, getting treats through the porch window, bedtime prayers, your ceramic ornaments, you, Grandpa, Clem and Verna picking me up at MHC, peeling apples and making sauce, and watering flowers. It is funny how I remember all these by the house you lived in... There is no place like Grandma's. Thank you for teaching me to live and embrace life, and age is relative. I love you."

"The countless memories I have of Rosie and my mother together laughing and telling stories are priceless. She was a wonderful friend to my Mom and many others. I loved her smile and I feel blessed to have known Rose!"

Eric Travis wrote on Dec 4, 2013:

"Words cannot describe the love I had for my only Grandmother. She was a very special person who taught me so much and was always there for me. The support and confidence she helped me develop has allowed me to be the person I am today. We had so many great times together from bowling at so many alleys we lost track to the priceless ritual of the early morning strawberry picking. I will always cherish these countless memories and am truly lucky to be able to share these one day with my son. I am fortunate that I was able to have one last great visit a few weeks ago where we even shared a bottle of wine. BUT, I will always remember my grandmother pushing her only grandson on the swings as a little boy on the bluff in Port, that is what life is all about! "

"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. The first time we met Rose was on the happy occasion of Shana and Eric's wedding!! Not only was she a loving and warm lady, but she delighted us with her great sense of humor. We send you thoughts of peace and courage during these difficult days. God Bless!!"
