Pat Sexton just called us this morning. We are so sorry to hear of Darrel's passing. He will be greatly missed! However; after our surprise meeting at the casino in November we knew he was in pain and that is very difficult for him and all who loved him. We so enjoyed our visit with both of you that day and meeting your friends too.
If Pat had called me yet last night, we would have come to the funeral today, but it is too late to make it now. Know that we will be with you in spirit as good byes are said today. We will always remember the "fun" times we shared with the two of you and especially remember Darrel's many stories and his great laugh!

LONE TREE, Iowa -- Darrel Bell, 84, of Lone Tree, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Florida.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014, at the Lone Tree American Legion. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2014, at the Lone Tree American Legion. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Darrel. The Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Darrel's arrangements and his family.
Darrel will be deeply missed by his wife, Carolyn Bell of Lone Tree; his children, Tom Bell and wife, Terri, Tim Bell and wife, Jacque, Cindy Forbes and husband, Steve, Kevin Bell and wife, Lynn, Todd Saltzman and wife, Mary Ellen, Tami Patterson and husband, Todd, all of Lone Tree; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Susan Vaughn of California.
