Angela Lea Brockmeyer daughter of LeRoy and Elaine (Nepple) Irlbeck was born August 17, 1972 in Carroll, Iowa She lost her 11 year battle to cancer on February 17, 2014 at her home in Shenandoah, Iowa surrounded by family and friends at the age of 41 years and 6 months.

Angela attended Manning Community Schools and graduated in 1990. She then attended Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, where she met her future husband Mark. They were married on August 14, 1993 and she graduated from Buena Vista College in 1995.

Angela and Mark moved to Shenandoah in 1997 where Mark became Chief Engineer at KMA Radio and Angela was in Accounts Payable for Brown Shoe Fit Company. Angela enjoyed family especially nieces Haylie and Morgyn. She also enjoyed photography.

Angela is preceded in death by grandparents Alphonse and Margaret Irlbeck, Ed and Sophia Nepple, Milton and Amber Brockmeyer and Glenn and Ferne Holthaus.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Mark Brockmeyer and her cat "Baby" of Shenandoah, Iowa, parents LeRoy and Elaine Irlbeck, brother Alan Irlbeck and wife Ericka and their children Haylie and Morgyn all of Manning, Iowa, father and mother-in-law Rev. Myron and Delpha Brockmeyer of Indianola, Iowa, sister-in-law Diane Brockmeyer of Waukee, Iowa nieces Melissa Heck and family of West Des Moines and Michelle Cubit and husband Jon of Johnston, Iowa and her special family at Brown Shoe Fit Company.

"I knew Angela as a client of the Shenandoah Animal Hospital where I work. She would come in with her sweet kitty, "Baby" and I was very impressed with how she took such good care of him. We talked a little about her health problems and I was so impressed by her positive attitude; she was always so pleasant and friendly; a real pleasure to be around. She will be greatly missed and I will miss seeing her smiling face. "
