"Oh my I still can't believe this news. I enjoyed the more then 20 yrs that we spent while you made me look not so old over the years . I'm going to miss the bashing of your ex that we did a lot of over the years. I loved the way you always had a smile on your face and all the gossiping we would do. It was funny when we would talk about the "young ones" and all the times we would shake our heads and laugh while we talked about them only a few feet away from us. Heaven has truly gained an angel and I will miss you so much as I'm sure others will feel the same way. I can't even begin to think about finding a new hair stylist as I feel you were the best there was. God speed my friend I loved you and already miss you."

"I met Sue through Tammy while I was volunteering for the shelter. Tammy was always a great person to work with and when I met Sue, I could certainly see where Tammy got her wonderful personality! Sue was as wonderful, caring and loving on the inside as she was on the outside and a great individual!!! Sue had a great big heart and it showed in so many ways whether it was helping her family, cutting a friends hair or just being a friend to say "Hi" to. I loved dropping by Cost Cutters just for a minute when she was there. We may never know why God took her like He did other than her life as we knew her was done and somehow maybe it will help to make us all stronger! My sympathies to the whole family on the loss of such a great person!!!"

"Sue Davis is someone that is unforgettable. She possessed a work ethic that would make anyone feel the need to excel. She had a heart as big as the universe and ready to help at the drop of a hat. She was a professional and her work showed that thru the clientele that followed her at the salon. She loved her family, she loved her friends and she loved her employees. She was a like a mother to me, she gave me advice, she would comfort me, and she would tell me to get it together when I needed told to straighten up. I will never forget her laugh, her stories of so many crazy things she did, and her complaints of needing clip on bangs. What a woman she was. There is a hole left in my heart that only Sue could fill, but I also have so many many good memories to put in that spot. To the family, you are a blessed bunch to have lived with a woman like Sue, thank you for sharing her with us!"

Amber Kremin wrote on Feb 21, 2014:

"I have many fond memories of Sue. She was one of my instructors in beauty school,my salon manager, my salon mom, a friend, and my mentor. She watched me evolve as a stylist, person, and parent. Sue always had something to say and some of the best advise. I am not sure what I or many others will do with out her here. She was an inspiration to the cosmetology industry and many of us that are in it. Now she is a Legend. cosmetologist everywhere will tell their stories of how she touched their lives and was their inspiration! Sue will forever be mine, I constantly stop and ask my self "what would Sue do?" "
