Menroy H. Miller
Mr. Roy Miller, of Port Washington, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, March 5, 2014 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton surrounded by his family. He was 83 years old. Roy was born November 27, 1930 in Sheboygan, the son of William and Annetta Fox Miller. Roy grew up on the family farm in Random Lake, and graduated from Random Lake High School in 1949. After high school, Roy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. On September 29, 1962, he was united in marriage with Beverly Grimm in Random Lake. The couple lived in Milwaukee before moving to Port Washington in 1976. For 43 years, Roy was a supervisor at WH Brady in Glendale. Roy was a dedicated and involved member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Port Washington. For many years, he volunteered at Fish Day with the St. Peter's Men Club. He had also been a member of the Hamm-Miller American Legion Post #145, and enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing sheepshead and cribbage. Roy is survived by his wife Beverly of Port Washington and their three children: Teresa (Sean) Beck of Hudson, FL, Renee (Mike) Bernardy of Port Washington and David (June) Miller of Grafton. He is further survived by 7 grandchildren, brothers Merlin (Delores) of Greenbush and William (Marilyn) of Random Lake, brother-in-law Michael Grimm of Germantown, sisters-in-law: Marge Miller and Pearl Miller, both of Random Lake, Carol Jarosch of Brown Deer, Earline Grimm and Linda Grimm, both of FL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Ted, brothers Gilbert, Harold and Jimmy Miller, and brother-in-law Don Grimm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 7 at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church, 1800 N. Wisconsin Ave., Port Washington. Father Patrick Wendt will officiate. Roy will be laid to rest at St. Mary Parish Cemetery in Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 10AM-12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is honored to be serving the family.
