Muriel S. Kirschner
January 27, 1928 - March 8, 2014

Muriel S. Kirschner of Madison passed away peacefully Saturday March 8, 2014 at Four Winds Manor after a long illness. Muriel was born January 27, 1928 in Sheboygan, WI. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, WI in 1946 and from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1950 with a Bachelors Degree in education. She was a devoted special education teacher at Nicolet High School in Glendale, WI.

Muriel was an avid Badgers fan and a long time member of the Wisconsin Alumni Association. She loved mah jong, bridge, travel and reading.

Muriel will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Donald, two sons, Steven and William, a brother, Gerald Salinsky, one grandchild, Mackenzie, her daughter-in-law, Peggy and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Four Winds Manor and Lodge for their love and special care. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin, 517 N. Segoe Rd., Suite 301, Madison, WI 53705.
