"You were the coolest dad in the neighborhood. Even with the large size of your family, you were always welcoming all us neighbor kids into the house for dinner, snacks and soda in the basement rec-room and even let us pound on the drum set in the corner. I remember when you donated your garage to the homecoming float team so we could build a eagle roasting on a stick, as the Madison Knights played the Marshal Eagles in the football game. You stayed with us late every night. I will always remember your great smile and keen sense of humor. AND MAN DID YOU HAVE A LOT OF GREAT KIDS !!!! You made the world a better place"

"My favorite memory of my love bug was our trip to Ireland. We were just married, so much in love, like two wild and crazy college kids. The memories I have will last me a lifetime, especially when he stood up in an Irish pub and My Wild Irish Rose. That song will always be special to me. RIP. We'll meet again. "
