It's very hard to understand why these things happen. I'm sure she is in a happy place and looking down with that big smile. She may be gone but her memories will last forever. Hold on to that as we hold her in our deepest prayers. May your emptiness be filled with the love she shared for you and you for her. "

Mike and Su Hausch wrote on Mar 27, 2014:

"Sarah, Matt, Maria and Abby, Su and I hold you close to our hearts today and in the days to come. Your mom was an amazing woman in so many ways. We would certainly agree with the kind words said by many. But we would like to share with you something that your mom would want you to know above all else. She wasn't counting on her own goodness to see Jesus face to face. We believe that God allows children to see their parents in brokenness and sin so that they learn that it is not human goodness that saves us. As Good Friday and Easter approaches, people of faith in Jesus look forward to hearing Jesus' words from the cross, "It is finished." With those words echoing through time we know that it is not what your mom did that allows entrance into Jesus' presence. So with sadness we celebrate the goodness and grace of our living Lord and Savior. We also know that it was her mission on earth to share God's good news at every opportunity. We especially pray that you remember hearing those words of confidence and hope in conversations she had with you. Mike and Su Hausch "
