Manuel Antonio Ugalde

Manuel "Manny" Antonio Ugalde, 44, of Davie, Florida, formerly of Coral Gables, Florida passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 under the care of Hospice-By-The-Sea.

Born in Coral Gables, Florida on May 3, 1970, the son of Manuel A. and Maria T. (Quinones) Ugalde Sr. Raised Coral Gables, Manny was educated at Coral Gables High School. At age 17, he began his career in the auto industry as a salesman and for many years worked at Rick Case Honda.

Manny enjoyed all types of sports, especially playing golf and was an avid New York Yankee's Fan. In his leisure time, he was an artist, working with pencil sketch drawings.

In addition to his parents, Manuel and Maria, he is survived by his loving son, Anthony James Ugalde, two sisters, Marta and Lorely, one nephew, two nieces and many colleagues and friends.

Visitation on Sunday, June 1st from 10:00 A.M. ~ 12:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood. The funeral service will begin at Twelve Noon with Pastor Rolando Castillo officiating. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be private.

"I worked with Manny at a car dealership in West Palm. He was a delight to work with and really enjoyed what he did. He cared about people and gave freely of his time to teach the younger sales guys. I am sad that I will not see him drive a golf ball over the adjacent bank building. He tried once but shanked it onto the parking lot. Some guys will do anything to sell a (used) car. He was an hororable man. I am sure the world is a little dimmer now."
