"Fly high"

Kaity Ashcraft wrote on Jul 14, 2014:

"I grew up with Lauras daughter Jen. I spent countless days and nights at their house, on vacations and at soccer with Laura and her family. She was without a doubt the sweetest person I have ever met. She always had the right things to say when something wasn't quite going right at school or if we were having boy problems. She toted us around for soccer and school functions and always showed endless and unconditional love for Jen, Matt and Amy. She was the best mother to her children and an amazing person and friend. It's been a few years since I've seen her but I will never forget her beautiful smile and the loving person she was. May you fly high with the angels. Praying for the comfort and peace for her family during this confusing time. Rest in peace, Laura. You always have been and will forever be loved. "

Cindy McSherry wrote on Jul 14, 2014:

"I was very sad to hear about Laura. I work at the high school and saw Laura on a daily basis. She was always so friendly and always had a smile on her face. The last time I talked to her - she had seen me wandering around the counter at lunch and asked if she could help me. I wanted a yogurt with blueberries and they were out. She said she would make me one on the spot and she did just that. That was the kind of person Laura was. My daughter also worked in the kitchen with her when she was a sub and she said she was always so happy when Laura was there because she knew she could ask her any question and she would be happy to help. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers and I will truly miss her when we return to school next month. "
