Sharon Ann Albinger
December 19, 1956 - August 2, 2014

SHARON ANN ALBINGER
Mrs. Sharon Albinger, of Hwy I in the Town of Fredonia, passed away at Kathy Hospice in West Bend on Saturday, August 2, 2014, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 57 years old. Sharon was born on December 19, 1956 daughter of Richard and Regina Beneke Jacoby. She grew up in Belgium and attended Cedar Grove - Belgium public schools, graduating with the Class of 1976. On August 5, 1978 she was united in marriage with Kenneth Albinger at St. Mary Catholic Church, Lake Church. The couple settled on the family farm in the Town of Fredonia and began farming. Sharon enjoyed working on the farm, and also took care of many of the neighborhood children. She was one of the friendly faces in the bakery section of Sentry Foods in Port Washington for many years and was involved with the Ozaukee County Farm Bureau for 30 years and was a former Women's Chairman with the group. She was also a 38 year member of the Golden Angels Bowling team, bowling in the Belgium Community Center Wednesday women's league. Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Ken, and their son Ryan, both of the Town of Fredonia. She is further survived by her parents, Richard & Regina Jacoby of West Bend, sister Colleen (the late David) Denzin of Campbellsport and brother Kevin Jacoby of Belgium, brothers- and sisters-in-law Richard (Mary) Albinger of Belgium, Tom (the late Dianne) Albinger of Saukville, Joann (Dan) Cherney of Menomonee Falls and James (Mary) Albinger of Jackson. Also surviving are aunts and uncles: Robert & Kathyrn Sepstead of Random Lake, Leon Jacoby of Dacada, Greg & Mary Ellen Michelson of Milwaukee, nieces and nephews including special nephews Alec & Nathan Denzin, special niece Jodie (John) Weigel of Port Washington and great-nieces Abigail, Amanda, Anna & Alyssa, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Joseph & Eleanor Jacoby, parents-in-law Lawrence & Marion Albinger, nephew John Albinger and god-father Methodius Shircel. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Thursday, August 7th at Divine Savior, St. Mary Chapel, Lake Church. Father Jim Ernster will preside and Fr. Neil Zinthefer will concelebrate. She will be laid to rest at St. Peter Cemetery in the Town of Farmington. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave in Port Washington on Wednesday, August 6th from 4-7PM and at CHURCH on Thursday from 10-11AM. Memorials are suggested to Kathy Hospice or to the charity of choice.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gary Herdrich, Dr. Sybilann Williams, nurses and care management team at CTCA, St. Joseph Hospital, and Kathy Hospice for the wonderful care they have taken of Sharon.
