Suelflow, Brunhilde M. "Bea"
Bea Suelflow of Townsend, formerly of Random Lake, passed away at her home on Friday, September 5, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was 79 years old. Bea was born August 3, 1935 in Kohler, the daughter of Henry Wagner and Kaetchen Spoerl Wagner. After high school, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Cardinal Stritch. On July 19, 1975, she was united in marriage with Arthur Suelflow at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistadt. For 25 years, Bea was a first grade teacher at St. Mary's Catholic School in Port Washington. She also worked as a gift buyer for the Ozaukee Apothecary for 10 years. Bea and Arthur resided in Random Lake, before moving to Townsend fulltime in 2010. Bea was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Townsend, and enjoyed boating, golfing, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Arthur and their two children Daniel (Diane) Scheftgen and Julie Hoff, both of Port Washington. She is further survived by 4 grandchildren: Alexy Hoff, Tommy Clements, Shawn (Michelle) Scheftgen and Jessica (Brandon) Banton, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Debra and brother Sigfried Wagner. Funeral Services will be held at 5PM on Tuesday, September 9 at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. Rev. Steven Mueller from St. John Lutheran Church in Townsend will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-5PM. Bea will be laid to rest a St. John's Cemetery in Sherman Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church in Townsend or the American Cancer Society. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.

"Such a gracious woman.....I so enjoyed my visit with her, her hospitality and grace.....we loved singing Christmas carols to her and Art.....they welcomed us all so warmly....wet boots and all....I will never forget the look on her face as we sang....Bea is now at peace....our prayers are with Art and family.....your memories just have to be awesome!!!!!"
