"Will never forget Donna's kindness when it was anything to do with family. I remember when our first left for college miles away. Donna saw me out golfing and asked me how we were doing with him gone. Oh-oh; my tears appeared. She was so understanding and just knew the sadness would disappear once we got used to having him out on his own. She was such a quiet and supportive presence. I loved, too, the flair with which she dressed and decorated. What a lady! "

"I used to wait tables at the Gold Key. During my high school years, I waited on Donna every Sunday morning before church. There was always a large catholic table and I enjoyed waiting on them. I think I can almost remember your mom's standard order 30 years later! I am sad to hear of her passing. "

"Cousins, My favorite memory of your folks was always the gathering of all the families in Two Rivers for the 4th of July celebrations. I still have a picture of the cousins on the couch at Grandma Thiede's house. Only Debbie and David were in it so it is pretty old. Your mom was a beautiful person, inside and out. Barbara (Thiede) Sampe"
