"I just found out Melva passed and want to tell the family what a wonderful woman she was. I had stage 4 cancer when I was 18 and during that year of treatments & follow ups with Dr. Russell, Melva was a gift from God to me. Her kindnesses and encouragements were so needed and to this day, 45 years later, I continue to remember the effect she had in my recovery. My prayers to you, her family. May she rest in peace with the Lord."
