MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Arthur L. Williams, Jr., 75, of Muscatine, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2015, in the comfort of his home.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Following the funeral service, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2015, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or M.C.S.A. in memory of Arthur.

Arthur was born on May 31, 1939, in Muscatine, the son of Arthur L. and Jeannette Heuer Williams. Arthur was a Muscatine High School graduate. On March 7, 1959, Arthur was united in marriage to Donna Lee Collins at the First Baptist Church in Muscatine.

He worked for Prime Mover for 47 years, retiring as Plant Superintendent.

Arthur was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and gardening, an avid sports fan, and a proud and dedicated family man.

Arthur will be deeply missed by his wife, Donna Williams of Muscatine; his children, Thresa Van Wey and fiancé, Scott Fix, of Muscatine, Troy Williams and wife, Sheila, of Muscatine, Lee Williams of Muscatine, Lorinda Morgan and husband, Bill, of Illinois City, Illinois, Donna Fulton and husband, Matt, of Muscatine and Lance Williams and wife, Mindy, of Muscatine; 12 grandchildren, Walker and Rylee Van Wey, Mackenzie and Madison Williams, Bryce and Kenadi Williams, Cole and Meridyth Morgan, Matthew and Samantha Fulton, and Amanda and Danielle Williams; three step grandchildren, Samantha Knight, Melissa Gordy, and Madison Gray; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Fulton and Amari Muniz; four step great-grandchildren, Jayvian, Kaiden, Rylan and Julicia; one sister, Janice Martin of Bakersfield, California; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur L. and Jeanette Williams; one son, Lance Arthur Williams; one granddaughter, Catherine Van Wey; one brother, Lance Williams; a son-in-law, Stan Van Wey; his father and mother-in-law, Burton and Gloria Collins; and a sister-in-law, Catherine Allen.
