Cynthia Darlene Wignall, age 50, of Albia died early Tuesday morning, January 20, 2015 at the Monroe County Hospital in Albia, under the care of HCI hospice. She was born on October 13, 1964 in Ottumwa, IA to Edward Ellis and Peggy Darlene (Mefford) Wignall.
She lived at Brees Rest Home in Albia. She enjoyed cross stitching, fishing, the outdoors, WWF wrestling, and her terrier dogs. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her siblings, Tim Wignall of Albia, Brenda Wignall of Oskaloosa, and Brian Wignall of Delhi. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Peggy, companion, Larry Thomas, and sister during infancy, Brenda Wignall.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Albia with Pastor Lynda Carlson officiating. Burial will follow services in Cuba Cemetery near Avery. Visitation will also be on Friday, from 9-11 am at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in Cynthia's name and proceeds will go to help for funeral expenses.
