In loving memory of

Richard J. "Grandpa J" Jaskolski

Jaskolski, Richard "Grandpa J.", entered God's loving arms on Monday, February 23, 2015. He was born in Milwaukee on January 12, 1943 to the late Vincent and Mary (nee Stawicki) Jaskolski. He graduated from Blessed Sacrament Grade School, Don Bosco High School, and Spencerian College where he was an active member of the college basketball team and Pi Rho Zeta Fraternity. He was a loving husband and dearest friend of Eileen (nee Kaczmarek), married for almost 48 years. Richard will be dearly missed by Eileen, his 3 children, Joe Jaskolski, Mark (Rose) Jaskolski, and Mary (Mike) Kilar, his grandchildren, Brittany, Rosie, Emma, Sam, Treyton (in heaven), Ellie, and Kindyl, and his brothers Stanley (Cindy) Jaskolski and Ronald (Jeanne) Jaskolski. He was a proud Godfather to Dan, and also loved by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Richard owned his own accounting business and was very dedicated to the clients he served. Richard instilled true family values in his concern for his children and grandchildren in the way he lived his life. His most cherished times were times spent with family. He was a devoted husband, father, coach, fan, friend, mentor, and role model. He was an active and proud member of the Armed Forces and St. Matthias Catholic Church, where he served as a member of the Parish Council, Trustee, and Usher for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his very special Grandson, Treyton.

"Richard was a great friend, he was the man I could put my faith in blindly, knowing that he would help in any way possible. When things would get difficult, Richard would always say to me "It's not the end of the world, Jorge" I had the utmost confidence in my great friend. I will truly miss this great man."

""Let her shoot", said Mr. J., as the basketball was forcibly passed to me in St. Matthias gym. (I think that was one of the few baskets I ever made.) "Are you going to eat? Grab a plate. Drinks are in the garage." said Mr. J at Jaskolski family gatherings I attended. He was considerate of others in thoughtful ways. Good deeds breed good deeds. I think that is why I "grabbed {him} a plate {of food}" the last time I saw him. I was sad to hear of your passing and I feel sorrow for your family but now you get to have "a plate" with our Lord, Jesus Christ...lucky you! God bless you."
