Ron passed away March 11, 2015 at his home. He is preceded in death by infant son, Patrick John. He is survived by wife of 59 years, Marian (nee Gelhaye); children, Therese (John) Rose, Christopher (Mary), Stephen, Matthew (Wendy), Joseph (Deb), Jeanine (John) Otte, and Sharon Paul; 13 grandchildren, Chandler Poling, Madeleine Poling, Olivia Poling, Leah Paul, Nathan Paul, Daniel Paul, Emily Paul, Ashley Paul, Sarah Paul, Bailey Paul, John Otte, Julia Otte, and James Otte; sister, Donna Peterson; brother, Gregory Paul; and extended family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Tuesday, March 24th at Church of St. Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake with military honors following the mass. Private interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Church of St. Peter, Forest Lake.
