"Just watched the DVD and immediately started to cry. My Uncle Robert was a sweet man, always happy. I couldn't see the pictures through the tears, had to stop mid way through to dry my tears and blow my nose. I remember sitting around the dining room table during the holidays and listening to stories told by my mother, Marty Lamke and my Aunt Mary and Uncle Robert; I was mesmerized. No matter how many times I heard their stories, never once did I tire of listening. They were the epitome of the Greatest Generation. I will sincerely miss my Uncle Robert, he was one of a kind. I have a question, though...Who are all those old men posing with my Uncle?"

"I am very sorry for your loss. I never knew Robert Swick Sr. but, I know Robert Swick Jr. and the Swick's love and embrace life. In that process they improve all of our lives with their sense of humor and presence. We are better because of it. "

"I'm so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy. May you find comfort from your memories, as well as God's word the Bible. Why do people we love die? Romans 5:12 says: "That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away. "

"Papaw to our children, dad to me, and always there for us in fun times and in times of need. He and Mimi stayed with me and Stephanie and DJ the night I was going into labor with Robbie. He took me to the hospital twice in the middle of the night and they sent me home. Then the next morning he took me again. I said "papaw, im so sorry to make you do this again". He said , Oh Leslie, this time it's for real.... 4 hours later, Robert Charles Swick was born.... I love that man!!!"

"Well sir...I didn't know you...but if you were half the man your son is, then you must've been a great man. Rest easy."

"I'm sorry for the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in your loving memories of Robert. The Bible is a great source of encouragement. At Acts 24:15 "There is going to be a resurrection." While grief at the loss of your loved one is great, joy at welcoming him back in the earthly resurrection will be greater. What a marvelous hope God has promised to mankind. "
