"Dear Dally Family, For some reason I thought about Dr. Dally today and searched to find this listing. I worked at Quisling Clinic for about 6 years in the 1970's Dr. Dally was such an interesting man. I had no idea of all of his accomplishments but have read his obituary with much interest. He was a wonderful presence at QC during those years. I am sorry for your loss. Linda Stuesser"

"Dear Jane, Amy and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss; while I am sure there is comfort to know that he is in a better place. Having lost our Father earlier this year, I can only imagine what you are dealing with; my heart goes out to all of you.
Though I do want to share some positive words/ memories about your Dad! As an adult I find it strange that we always referred to him as "Mr. Dally." I think that was a testimony to how totally committed he was to fatherhood and how us in the neighborhood just knew him as a good Dad! Even as a child I could tell how much he loved you all by the names of endearment he gave each of you!
Even though on a big level I was oblivious to your father's professional career/accomplishments, I do remember my g. uncle was so impressed with your father's care, that he switched doctors and would rather travel a distance with all that incovenience, than to not see Dr. Dally at the Quisling Clinic!
After reading his bio before and after "Rowley Av" I can see why and how he was such an amazing Dad, doctor, and person! Time helps, but I think a flood of positive memories are the key to going on; which I am sure you have in droves! Thoughts and prayers with all of you at this time.

"Several years ago I met Dr. Dally for lunch at Oconto with two of his daughters, our 3rd cousins: Mary & Jane. I was so happy to receive a book he wrote about his life and times !
We paid a visit to Mrs. Josephine Belongia Herald, good friend of the Bob & Mary Werts Noonan family of Oconto.. & the widow of Judge Eddie Herald of Oconto, WI. Brother Dan A Noonan of Milwaukee.. and Jo & Ed's son Michael Herald, (our 3rd Cousin) of Green Bay, WI went to Marquette Law School together back in the day! Jo was Aunt to Mary Beth Herald Dally.
We know Dr. Dally now rests in peace and suffers no more from the physical ailments that he had.
Thinking of our Herald Descendant cousins and wishing all peace and wonderful memories of days gone by.

"Fresh from California and experienceing our first big (record setting) snowfall in December of 1990 I looked out our bedroom window and saw our new neighbors Al and Beth snow blowing their roof. Wow, what kind of neighbors do we have! Al and Beth turned into the best neighbors with Al and I taking on a False Bamboo war inclulding Al one time pouring some flamable likquid into the hollow stalk and lighting it off. Meanwhile I was attacking it with pick ax and shovel to no avail. But the next Spring Al and I wondered if the kerosene smell we could smell was left over from last summer's war on False Bamboo. Nope. We discovered a fuel tank. In came the hazardous materials people. Beth and All were the kind of neighbors you pray for--people who worked with their neighbors to everyone's benefit. That smile in the picture says it all. Life is good, find joy in every day.
One last memory--Al and Beth would come to our annual Christmas party. I handed out song books to sing carols. We started to sing and then stopped dead in our tracks when Beth let loose with a voice that was stunning. They will be missed and remembered (especially as I go after the false bamboo again this spring and summer.) "
