Michelle Nicole Kiewitt, 17 of Seymour passed away in Louisville, Kentucky, on May 24, 2015.

Michelle was born in Seymour, Indiana, on May 16, 1998, the daughter of Sandy Lea Burchett (Danny) Collins and Michael Duane (Wendy) Kiewitt.

She was baptized at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Seymour. She was a very active 17 year old who loved to stay on the go. She was always taking selfie's on her phone, posting pictures on her Facebook page, and running around with friends.

Michelle was a senior at Seymour High School-JCLC where she enjoyed Football, Cheerleading and Swimming. Her favorite pastime was being outside as she wouldn't hesitate to jump on a four wheeler and take a ride or get on a go-cart and hit the dirt.

Michelle is survived by her parents, sister: Nora Rena (Cameron) Royalty; niece: Alexandria Royalty; step brothers and sisters: Christy, Daniel and Christopher Collins, Jeremy and Megan Wagers; step nephew: Beau Wagers-Jones; paternal grandparents: Larry Kiewitt and John (Frances) Sparrow; paternal step grandparents: Joyce and David Brasher; maternal step great grandfather: James Douglas; paternal step great grandmother: Vera Sparrow; several aunts and uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by an infant brother: Michael Duane Kiewitt, Jr., maternal grandparents: Ronald and Peggy Strong; and paternal step grandmother: Dixie Kiewitt,

Funeral service will be Saturday May 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Voss Chapel with Rev. Andrew Currao, officiating.

Burial will follow at Acme Cemetery, Seymour.

Family and friends may call at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, 316 N. Chestnut St., on Friday, May 29th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday after 10 a.m. until time of service.

Memorial contributions may be written in memory of Michelle to Riley Children's Hospital through Voss Funeral Service, Seymour.
