"Wilbur was our dear neighbor and friend. He loved his garden and flowers and loved to teach us about something we knew so little. We started to go for walks everyday and he told us stories about all the houses on the surrounding streets where he grew up. We are left with broken hearts."

Mr. Wilbur Huebner, of Cedarburg, passed away Thursday morning, June 25, 2015 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was 83 years old. Wilbur was born November 29, 1931 in Cedarburg, the son of Herbert and Helen (nee Scheer) Huebner. He attended Cedarburg High School. Wilbur worked for many years at Allen-Bradley in Cedarburg. He enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, traveling, and was skilled at designing floral arrangements. He will be dearly missed by his 2 dogs, Buttons and Bo. Wilbur is survived by his siblings: Bertha Surges of Fredonia, Herbert Huebner of Cedarburg, Walter Huebner of Grafton, Helen (Lloyd) Isaacson of Tomahawk and Marilyn Zulka of Cedarburg, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Herman Huebner. Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave. in Cedarburg. Pastor Janis Kinens will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 1-2PM. Wilbur will be laid to rest at Zur Ruhe Cemetery beside his parents. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Cedarburg is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
