Kevin Scott Wiebe was born on July 15, 1961 in Windom, Minnesota to Leo and Georgia (Wilson) Wiebe. Kevin accepted Christ as Savior at the age of 12, after his brother Gary passed away. He was baptized in 1973 in Jeffers, Minnesota. He attended school at Storden-Jeffers Public School and graduated with the Class of 1979.
On June 11, 1982, Kevin was united in marriage to Rebecca Lynn Coons. This marriage was blessed with two sons, Scott and Adam. Kevin worked as a mechanic on combines at Jeffers Implement for 22 years. He continued working there until he wasn't able to because of his health. Kevin passed away at his home on Monday morning, November 30, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Kevin was a member of the Jeffers Baptist Church where he ran the sound system since 1999, mowed the church lawn for 20+ years, snow removal for 20+ years, and was an usher for 30+ years. He enjoyed working on farm machinery and loved talking about farming. Kevin loved being a Grandpa and spending time with his granddaughter, Harper.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca; two sons, Scott Wiebe and his wife, Leah, of Lynchburg, VA and Adam Wiebe of Ivanhoe; one granddaughter, Harper Wiebe; father, Leo Wiebe of Bingham Lake; one brother, Keith Wiebe and his wife, Diane, of Burnsville; and many other relatives and friends.
