Bonnie VanEllen wrote on Sep 7, 2015:

"When I smell diesel I think of you Grandpa. I remember how you would laugh when us grandkids thought we were tougher than you and you would smash our fingers with your vice-grip hands. I will never forget the day you stood with me and waited for me to pick out a toy while out shopping! You never complained and I took FOREVER! At my wedding you pointed at Eric and said "I ain't hugging HIM!". You liked to put up a tough guy front but we all knew you had a heart of gold. It was easy to see in the way you loved your pets and in the way you provided for and protected your family. We will miss you. I love you and will see you again. "
