Valerie O'Connor
April 25, 1956 - January 6, 2016

Valerie O'Connor passed away on Wednesday, January 6th 2016. She was 59 years old.

Born in the Bronx, New York City, she lived 30+ years in Jackson, NJ. She also resided in Belmar, and most recently in Whiting.

Valerie worked for 3M Company, Freehold for many years in Quality Control. She also was a school bus driver for the Anderson Bus Company, Howell for many years as well. In the past, she volunteered as an EMT for the Spring Lake First Aid Squad.

She loved the beach, and her dog Priscilla. She had a talent for arts and crafts and enjoyed gardening.

Valerie was predeceased by her father, Bruno Stulle. Surviving are her three daughters: Sarena Henderson and her husband John, Sandra Goderstad and her husband Roy, and Cara O'Connor; three grandsons, J.T., Ryan and Kevin; her mom, Audrey Stulle; and three brothers, Lou Ballester and his wife Phyllis, David Ballester, and Bruno Stulle.

There will be a Memorial Gathering on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 4-6 PM at HORIZON FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755. The service will be offered at 5:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Valerie's name to Associated Humane Societies and Popcorn Park, http://www.ahscares.org
