"After my Mother, Celine Krueger Chase passed away at the age of 98 in March, 2010, I journeyed to Minnesota to visit Rowena, the cousin she kept in touch with monthly for years. I met Rowena a few years back when Mom and I took a car trip back to Minnesota. She helped to identify pictures of people even Mom had trouble identifying including a picture she didn't have of her mother at a young age that I left with her. We had so much fun talking about family history and visiting the old farm sites and even cemetaries. We took short day trips and had dinner out. Rowena had a great memory and we had a great visit. I'm glad I had a chance to get to know Rowena as she was a great lady."

"Mrs. Guderian was one of my favorite patients. It was such a joy caring for her. We had many enlightening conversations. She was so thankful and appreciative for small things. When ever you left her room, if several times a shift, she would always say "Thank you.""

"I remember growing up, Rowena would come to our home as will as my grandparents (Kisro's) home for some Holidays. We would play cards. It did not matter what game we would play, just that we played cards. Last spring we had coffee with Rowena at my sister's home. I had not seen her for many years, we all had a nice visit. May you rest in peace Jan Kisro Ahern"

"Rowena was a member of our church for many years. She was loved by so many people! I loved her for her sense of humor, the twinkle in her eye, her willingness to help, her smile, her storytelling, her laughter, her hugs, her feisty attitude...and a million other reasons. She was a dear friend...and when my mother died, she told me stories about my mom that made me smile. Rest in peace, dear Rowena. "
