"As a long time pilot with Delta Air Lines I had the pleasure of working with some of the finest people a person would want to be with. Chris was one of those I can say that about without any reservation. He was that quiet but reliable crew member who knew his job and yet contributed to the cockpit atmosphere with an enjoyable sense of humor. Even though I have not seen Chris in quite a few years the memories we generated as co-workers have lasted. Rest in peace, my friend. Dick Gardner, Capt. (ret)"

"We were sad to hear of Chris' passing. We have not seen the family since we relocated to Tennessee, but several fond memories come to mind when thinking about Chris and his family. Chris was a very good father to his children and was always present in their lives. Chris was always willing to help others in the community. We recall the day that Chris spent helping repair our John Deere combine during harvest season. Our prayers are with your family. God bless you. Mary and Clayton Haehl Pulaski, TN "
