"I would like to express my condolances to the Hapak family. A man's virtues are best reflected in the lives of his children. I met Susan in the late 70's through my friend Steve Shortridge and even traveled to Watkins Glen with them. While extremely intelligent and beautiful , Susan has a heart for others. I learned from talking with Susan how important her family was to her. What better legacy could a man leave??Through the his many acheivements and the wonderful family members that he leaves behind , Doctor Hapak will continue to positively influence this world for many years to come. At this time my thoughts and prayers are with your family.Sincerely,David Davis "

"To the family of Dr. Frank Hapak......I knew Dr. Hapak when I was a golf caddy at Meridian Hills in the 1960's. I was always so excited to draw his name or be in the same foursome with his golfing buddies (Mr. Boris Meditch, Mr. John David, etc). Dr. Hapak was not only an excellent golfer and tipper, but he would even buy all the caddies in his group a hot dog and large coke at the half-way house! I would see Dr. Hapak occasionally over the years and he would always ask how my family was doing. True gentleman and great role model."

"Dear Hapak Family--I was so saddened to learn from my parents (still in Indianapolis) that Dr. Hapak had passed away. As one of his "baby boomer patients with a straight smile", I am very thankful for his years of care. I fondly remember one Sunday that my front wire had broken after eating a raw carrot at the old Riviera Club, and he came into the office that afternoon in shorts and high-top tennis shoes to fix it. I can see him like yesterday...and I'm now 53.My prayers are with each of you,Lindsay Davis Burnham"
